Ingredients: | 1 14 oz. Can of Eagle Brand Condensed Milk 1 1/2 cups of cold water 1 3 3/4 oz. pkg. Instant Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling Mix 2 cups (1 pt.) whipping Cream – whipped 1 10-12 oz. prepared loaf Pound Cake, cut into small cubes 1 Qt. Fresh Strawberries – sliced 1/2 cup strawberry preserves (get expensive brand for best taste) 1 Qt. of Additional Strawberries for topping |
Directions: | In a large mixing bowl, combine milk and water. Add pudding mix and beat well. Chill this mix for about five minutes in the refrigerator Whip the 2 cups of whipping cream and fold into the mix Spoon 2 cups of pudding into a 4qt. glass serving bowl Top that with one-half each of the: cake cubes, sliced strawberries, preserves and pudding Repeat steps 5 and 6 (layering) ending with pudding on top Garnish with additional strawberries slice in half Chill for four hours or until set. Leftovers must be refrigerated |
